Quoi?

It's wednesday which means work party day! time to kick off your shoes, eat a bunch of doughnuts from the new system bakery ("I went out to move my car and accidently went to the bakery." Bruce, Senior Producer), read pubs from outside of maryland and be really really NPR clever in your copy for Friday's show (only to have to re-do it later). 

Bopping around youtube in an effort to counteract my early onset 35 year old ism I came across a cute little ditty by a conservative french economist about American gov't spending.  

Adoreable. Is this the way we're going to get our commentary from now on? Honestly I'd take her much more seriously if she was in black and white type on the Op-ed page of WaPo. I don't know if I wan't my news totally New Mediaed (espically if its going to look like this.) 

And just to editorialize, I spent some of 7th grade in France. Half days on wednesday and saturday? genius! Doctors that come to your house when you are uber sick? So comforting. I would be willing to hand over half my hamburger graphics for a little gov't love.
